Snagworks Ltd specialise in repairs to chips, dents and scratches to any surface. Our photo gallery pages provides examples of the types of repair we undertake regularly. Over the years, we have repaired hundreds of thousands of items in around 25 thousand properties across the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire, the North East and the Midlands.

Damage ranges from chips, scratches, dents, gouges to minor scuffs, staining or factory defects.

Some repairs take almost no time at all to complete, others take several hours. For instance, metal marks to porcelain (silver scuffs to basins or toilets) can be removed in seconds. Cuts and gouges to uPVC frames could take 10 minutes to sand and polish out to 30 minutes if the damage requires filling and spraying. A structural repair to a bath, where fibre glass strengthening to the underneath is required, together with a gel coat repair to the inside surface may take 2 hours to complete.

On average, Snagworks allows 30 minutes per repair, and therefore we expect to complete 4 repairs in 2hrs, 8 repairs in 4 hrs and 16 repairs in 8hrs. Most repairs can be completed during a single visit as we carry all the equipment necessary to cover any eventuality.

Unfortunately, the nature of the work involves the use of chemicals, resins, glues, cellulose, thinners, etc. which have a strong odour. We always to to minimise noise, dust and smells by opening windows and putting down dust sheets.

In most cases the repairs are cured by the time we leave, however, heat drying tends to cure the skin, leaving primary layers wet. We recommend that repairs are not rubbed with anything abrasive or cleaned with harsh chemicals before the repair has had time to cure properly.

The repair materials we use have similar physical properties to the damaged item, so that the repair should last as long as the item itself and wear or age in a similar way.
